Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (ACHE) are used in processes like oil/gas production, processing, and trasport along with HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) and power generation.
The main difference when comparing standard timing pulleys to ACHE sprockets is that Powerhouse® and Powerhouse® MX ACHE sprockets are designed to be significantly lighter than their alternatives (Taper-Lock®, QD®, Double Split Taper, Minimum Plain Bore, or Finished Bore). The weight difference will be especially beneficial in the overhead installation of these large diameter ACHE sprockets for applications such as industrial fans.
