Powerhouse® HTD® pulleys are designed to be completely compatible with older HTD® standard tooth profiles and Powerhouse® HTD® belts. They have a wide range of belt speeds, generate essentially zero friction, and are known as the first generation of curvilinear tooth profiles.
Stock Powerhouse® HTD® pulleys are made from black oxide coated iron/steel or clear anodized aluminum. Higher load capacities are associated with the steel and iron versions of these standards, compared to the aluminum and plastic versions. The steel and iron materials are what create the high strength and firmness in the quality.
Powerhouse® HTD® pulleys come in 4 different pitches: 3 mm, 5 mm, 8 mm, and 14 mm. We offer the Powerhouse™ HT® pulleys with inch minimum plain bores, metric minimum plain bores, QD® bushings, or Taper-Lock® bushings. Toronto Gear Works offers 3 mm pitch Powerhouse® HTD® pulleys with E-Z Lock® Hubs. E-Z Lock® Hubs are a compact self-contained clamping design that requires no additional hardware. E-Z Lock® Hubs have a built-in overload protection, are easy to adjust, and allow for full use of the bore.
